Slendertone Face – the natural alternative to surgery

As part of this non-surgical ethos Dr. Wong advocates using Slendertone Face to counter the effects of ageing:

“Gone are the days of wrinkle chasing – a more holistic approach is the latest trend in aesthetics industry. As ageing does not only affect one part of the face, using electro muscle stimulation to tone facial muscles is an ingenious way to achieve natural facial lift and excellent skin. Whether you’re after a younger looking visage or looking for an effective way to prevent the facial volume loss that comes with ageing, daily 20-minute sessions of facial muscle toning is, in my opinion, the best approach available on the market now. With strong research behind it, the scientifically and clinically proven Slendertone Face is the ultimate gadget in unveiling the best and youngest-looking version of the present you.”

Anti-ageing treatment for your face

Slendertone Face was specifically created for people who don’t want to have invasive anti-ageing treatments but want to restore the underlying tone of the face. Unlike facial freezing (Botox) which actually fosters atrophying of the muscles and therefore increases the maturing look of the face when it wears off, Slendertone Face provides a visible and natural lift to the face by exercising and toning the facial expression muscles which have a direct impact on ageing the appearance.

The device achieves this using electronic muscle stimulating (EMS) technology to stimulate the facial nerves to activate natural muscle contractions and therefore exercise the face. This is designed to remedy a key contributor to the ageing process - muscle wastage - which starts from as young as thirty years of age. As the facial muscles are directly attached to skin, when they lose mass the attached skin sags and hollows and causes ageing of the face. The device is able to restore the youthful shape of the face in twelve weeks by toning and lifting the muscles naturally. It also increases the blood flow to the face and within two weeks users have reported an improvement in their circulation and the boost of a healthy glow.

Slendertone Face will soon be sold at the spa in the W Hotel.
